- John Isaacs Review added: 2018.10.05★ ★ ★ ★ ★Situated in East Compton all that remains of The Church of StMary is the late 15c tower and part of the West wall of the former nave. There is also some interesting grave stones. It's an interesting place to call in on a walk to Melbury beacon. I would suggest you park at the new church and have a walk through Compton Abbas it's a very pretty village.
